Dr Rushab Shah is a consultant rheumatologist with public and private affiliations in Melbourne. Rushab completed his medical training at Flinders University and undertaken his specialist training at the Alfred Hospital and St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne. He has pursued further sub-specialty training with a clinical research fellowship at the University of Manchester and Manchester Foundation Trust Hospitals in the United Kingdom. This fellowship has led to subspecialty clinical and research experience in Raynaud's phenomenon, systemic sclerosis and autoimmune heart and lung disease.
Aside from his clinical appointments, Rushab has a keen interest in research and education. He has previously held teaching appointments with Flinders University and been involved with tutorial programs with the University of Melbourne. Rushab has had the opportunity to present his research works at both national and international conferences.
Rushab’s clinical interests extend to all facets of rheumatology, but he has a particular interest in systemic sclerosis, investigation and management of Raynaud’s phenomenon, and connective tissue disease related cardio-pulmonary disease.
